सिद्धार्थ केवलकारको तेह्रौं साधारण सभा सम्पन्न, आईपीओ जारी गर्ने प्रस्ताव पारित
काठमाडौं । बुटवलस्थित सिद्धार्थ केवलकार लिमिटेडको तेह्रौं वार्षिक साधारण सभा सम्पन्न भएको छ । काठमाडौंको तीनकुनेस्थित सिद्धार्थ कटेजमा सम्पन्न सभाले कम्पनीका विभिन्न प्रस्तावहरू स्वीकृत गरेको छ । सभाले विशेष प्रस्तावअन्तर्गत कम्पनीले आईपीओ जारी गर्ने प्रस्ताव सर्वसम्मत रूपमा पारित गरेको हो । साधारण सभा सम्पन्न भएसँगै सर्वसाधारणमा शेयर निष्कासनका लागि आवश्यक सम्पूर्ण प्रक्रिया अगाडि बढाइने कम्पनीका अध्यक्ष ई. राजेन्द्र सिंह गुरुङले जानकारी दिए । कम्पनीको परियोजना नुवाकोट गढी क्षेत्रमा रहेको छ, जुन ऐतिहासिक रूपमा वीर नेपालीहरूले अंग्रेज सेनालाई परास्त गरेको स्थानका रूपमा परिचित छ । साथै सोही क्षेत्रमा भगवान् गौतम बुद्धका कुलगुरुको प्राचीन आश्रम रहेको उल्लेख विभिन्न बौद्ध धर्मग्रन्थमा पाइने कम्पनीले जनाएको छ । कम्पनीका अध्यक्ष बुटवलका स्थानीय उद्यमी ई. गुरुङ रहेका छन् भने प्रबन्ध सञ्चालकमा शेयर विश्लेषक, लगानीकर्ता तथा जलविद्युत् व्यवसायी प्रभुलाल अधिकारी छन् । कम्पनीका मुख्य लगानीकर्तामा प्रभु केवलकार एन्ड टुरिजम लिमिटेडसहित प्रभु ग्रुप्स, बुटवल क्षेत्रका व्यवसायीलगातयत छन् । सभामा प्रस्तुत विवरणअनुसार कम्पनीले गत आर्थिक वर्षमा ८ करोड रुपैयाँ सञ्चालन मुनाफा आर्जन गरेको छ । आगामी वर्षमा अझ उच्च मुनाफा गर्ने लक्ष्य लिएको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ । साथै, गत वर्ष तीन लाखभन्दा बढी पर्यटकले सिद्धार्थ केवलकारमार्फत यात्रा गरेको जानकारी पनि सभामा दिइएको थियो ।

केवलकारको सिष्टम अपग्रेटसङ्गै पहुँचमार्गमा विद्युतीयकरण, बटम स्टेसमा रहेको सिद्धार्थ गार्डेनमा लाइटिङ सिष्टम जडान, रेष्टुरेन्ट भवन निर्माण तथा टप स्टेशनमा रहेको सिद्धार्थ स्ट्याचुको क्षेत्र विस्तार, शौचालय निर्माण लगायतका काम गरिएको छ ।
बटम स्टेसनदेखि टप स्टेससम्म २ किलोमिटर दुरी रहेको सिद्धार्थ केवलकारमा ८ जना क्षमताका २५ वटा गोन्डुला छ ।
बटम स्टेसन, टप स्टेसन तथा पोलहरूमा रहेको चेन हलेज सिष्टमलाई टायर हलेज सिष्टममा बदलिएको छ ।
यसले केबलकारको गति बढाउँने र पोलहरूमा खडखडाउने आवाज पनि नआउने कम्पनीका प्रबन्ध सञ्चालक प्रभुलाल अधिकारीले जानकारी दिए ।

यो अवधिमा केवलकारको सिष्टम अपग्रेटसंगै पहुँचमार्गमा विद्युतीयकरण, बटम स्टेशमा रहेको सिद्धार्थ गार्डेनमा उडेन परगोला तथा लाईटिङ सिष्टम जडान, रेष्टुरेन्ट भवन निर्माण तथा टप स्टेशनमा रहेको सिद्धार्थ स्ट्याचुको क्षेत्र विस्तार, शौचालय निर्माण लगायतका काम गरिएको छ । त्यसमध्ये रेष्टुरेन्ट भवन तथा सिद्धार्थ स्ट्याचु, शौचालय निर्माणाधिन अवस्थामै रहेको कम्पनीका प्रवन्धक नरबहादुर कार्कीले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
बटम स्टेशन देखि टप स्टेशसम्म २ किलोमिटर दुरी रहेको सिद्धार्थ केवलकारमा ८ जना क्षेमताका २५ वटा गोण्डुला रहेका छन् । जसमा बटम स्टेशन, टप स्टेशन तथा पोलहरुमा यस अंगाडी चेन हलेज सिष्टम थियो । त्यसलाई अहिले टायर हलेज सिष्टममा बदलिएको छ । प्रवन्धक कार्कीका अनुसार यसले केवलकारको गति बढाउँछ भने यात्राको समय घटाउँछ । त्यस्तै पोलहरुमा खडखडाउने आवाज पनि बन्द भएको उहाँले बताउनु भयो ।
त्यस्तै पहुँचमागमा दुबैतर्फ विद्युतीयकरण गरिएको छ । केही दिनमा लाईटिङ पनि जठान गरिने र त्यसले केवकारको यात्रालाई झनै आकर्षक बनाउने छ । त्यस्तै सिद्धार्थ गार्डेनमा उडेन परगोला तथा लाईटिङको काम पनि भईरहेको छ । त्यसबाहेक अरु धेरै पूर्वाधार निर्माणको काम बाँकी नै रहेको प्रवन्ध सञ्चालक प्रभुलाल अधिकारीले बताउनु भयो । सिद्धार्थ केवलकार लिमिटेडको योजना अनुसारका पूर्वाधार निर्माण भईसक्दा यस क्षेत्रको पर्यटकन विकासले एउटा उचाई लिने उहाँको विश्वास छ ।
सिद्धार्थ केवलकारको बटम स्टेशन बुटवल उपमहानगरपालिका वडा नं. १ मा रहेको छ भने टप स्टेशन पाल्पाको तिनाउँ गाउँपालिका वडा नं. १ स्थित नवाकोट गढीमा रहेको छ । सेनबंसीय परापूर्वकालदेखि नै पुरातात्विक तथा सामरिक महत्व बोकेको नुवाकोट गढी राष्ट्रिय गौरव बोकेको सम्पदा हो । नेपाल अंग्रेज यूद्धसंग जोडिएकाले यसले धेरै महत्व बोकेको छ । केवलकारको बटम स्टेशन समुद्रि सतहबाट ३ सय मिटर र टप स्टेशन समुद्रि सतहबाट ८ सय मिटरको उचाईमा रहेको छ । यहाँ शान्त, सितल, हरियाली र मनमोहक दृश्यले पर्यटकलाई बोलाईरहेका त्यसको मध्येस्थकर्ताको रुपमा सिद्धार्थ केवलकार खडा भएको प्रवन्ध सञ्चालक अधिकारी बताउनु हुन्छ ।
त्यस्तैगरी यो स्थानलाई सिद्धार्थ गौतमबुद्धसंग पनि जोडेर हेर्ने गरिएको छ । करिव २५६७ वर्ष अंघि कपिलबस्तुका राजा शुद्धोदनकी रानी मायाँदेवी आफ्नो दरवार तिलौराकोटबाट बैशाख पूर्णिमाका दिन माईत देवदह जाने क्रममा लुम्बिनी उद्यानमा मंगलसालको छहारीमा सिद्धार्थ गौतमको जन्म भएको थियो । सिद्धार्थ गौतमको जन्मपश्चात उत्तरतर्फ ७ पाईला किंवदन्तीका आधारमा सिद्धार्थ गौतमकाके ७ पाईलाको प्रतिकको रुपमा बटम स्टेशमा ६ वटा र टप स्टेशनमा एउटा गरी ७ वटा कमलको फूल निर्माण गरिएको उहाँले जानकारी गराउनु भयो ।
सिद्धार्थ गौतमबुद्धले बाल्यकालको शिक्षा पनि यसै स्थानमा आर्जन गरेको र लुम्बिनीसंग घनिभूत सम्वन्ध भएकाले यो भूमिमा निर्माण गरिएको केवलकारको नामाकरण पनि सिद्धार्थ गौतम बुद्धकै नामबाट राखिएको उहाँले बताउनु भयो । त्यसैगरी बटम स्टेशन नुवाकोटमा सेन कालमा निर्मित आराध्यदेव काल भैरवको मन्दिरमा भाकल गरेको मंगलकार्यबाट सिद्धि प्राप्त हुने जनविश्वास रहिआएको छ । यहाँ भैरव मन्दिर सहित सेनकालिन चतुर्भुज विष्णु मूर्ति, कोत घर, लगायतका धार्मिक स्थलहरु समेत रहेकाले यहाँ धार्मिक पर्यटनको प्रचुर सम्भावना देखिएको छ ।

Since beginning operations on Bhadra 19 last year, Siddhartha Cable Car has transported over 275,000 domestic and international tourists in just 10 months. The company reports that the number of domestic and foreign travelers has remained nearly equal.
The cable car route connects the ashram of Lord Gautam Buddha’s family guru to the historic Bhairavkama Temple in Nuwakot, Palpa. With a capacity of 700 passengers per hour, the cable car has become especially popular among followers of Gautam Buddha.
To mark the opening of the new office, company director Engineer Ramesh Prasad Sapkota performed a traditional Vedic inauguration ceremony. The official inauguration was conducted by Bhoj Kumar Khadka, Chairman of Prabhu Groups, who served as the chief guest at the event.
The event was attended by company directors and shareholders.
As part of its future plans, the company is preparing to launch three additional businesses: Nuwakot Gadhi Tourism Company, Rishi Kaldeval Tourism Company, and Hillside Village Resort.
The company also revealed that two more cable car projects are currently under development. These include:

The inauguration ceremony was held today, where Prabhu Groups Chairman Bhoj Kumar Khadka and Siddhartha Cable Car Director Engineer Ramesh Kumar Sapkota jointly cut the ribbon to mark the official opening.
Managing Director Prabhulal Adhikari stated that the central office was established to facilitate the company’s upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO), as well as to enhance business development and marketing activities.
He said, “We are preparing to launch our IPO soon, and to support that process, we’ve opened our central office in Kathmandu. It is also essential for branding and promoting our business.”
Siddhartha Cable Car, located in Rupandehi, operates under the investment of Prabhu Cable Car and Tourism Limited, a subsidiary of Prabhu Groups.

Siddhartha cable car connecting Butwal to Nuwakot is ready to be put into operation after Tihar. A two kilometer cable car is currently being constructed from Deurali Hills in Butwal to Nuwakot in Palpa. Siddhartha Cable Car President Rajendra Singh Gurung informed that 80 percent of the work on the cable car and 60 percent on the rest of the infrastructure have been completed so far.
He said that after the completion of the construction, preparations are being made to conduct the test and to formally conduct the operation after Tihar. "Our plan is to conduct a trial between Dashain and Tihar. After running the gondolas and testing the safety standards, it will be open to the public," Gurung said, "Perhaps it can be put into operation after Tihar."
Earlier, the Lumbini cable car has been put into operation to connect Basantapur from Butwal. Siddhartha Cable Car Pvt Ltd is also building a cable car at a cost of one billion. The distance of the cable car from Deurali Hills to Nuwakot, the historical place of Palpa, is 2 km. 500 meters of the cable car journey is through the middle of the forest. Chairman Gurung said that in the remaining one and a half kilometer journey, one can see the scenery up to Parpar including Butwal.
"In the beginning, we have kept the tower high to show the birds and nature of the forest," he said, "After a journey of five hundred meters, the entire scene of Butwal can be seen. After that, you can see the view up to Bhairahawa and Parasi.
Nuwakot is a historical and religious tourist spot. Nuwakot is the place where the summer palace of King Manimukunda Sen was in the past. Staying at this place, the army led by Colonel Ujir Singh used unique war tactics to defeat the British. Similarly, there are historical monuments like Bhairav Mandir Topahan Area, Kharkhajanaghar, Ranikuwa in Nuwakot.
Operator Anupaman Saiju informed that other infrastructures are also being built at the bottom station and top station of the cable car. According to him, Lotus Park will also be built in the form of seven lotus flowers. 6 of which will be at the bottom station. The remaining one will remain at the top station. A 50-feet tall Buddha statue will be built on top of the lotus flower shape of the top station. Apart from that, Dhungedhara, restaurant and other structures will be built.

Siddhartha cable car project is located at Butwal city, which is one of the most important and beautiful city of Nepal. The bottom station lies near the bank of Tinau river, near butwal bazaar. Butwal city is a hub place for western sector. Most of international tourist coming from surface travel visit this place. It is also the gate way to the Lumbini and Pokhara, which are the main tourist attraction places of Nepal. Administratively, it is situated in the Western Development Region, Lumbini Zone, Rupandehi District. The top station lies near Madimukundasen Mandir, which is one of the most important historical place of Nepal
