Siddhartha Cable Car President Rajendra Singh Gurung informed that 80 percent of the work on the cable car and 60 percent on the rest of the infrastructure have been completed so far.

He said that after the completion of the construction, preparations are being made to conduct the test and to formally conduct the operation after Tihar. "Our plan is to conduct a trial between Dashain and Tihar. After running the gondolas and testing the safety standards, it will be open to the public," Gurung said, "Perhaps it can be put into operation after Tihar."

Earlier, the Lumbini cable car has been put into operation to connect Basantapur from Butwal. Siddhartha Cable Car Pvt Ltd is also building a cable car at a cost of one billion. The distance of the cable car from Deurali Hills to Nuwakot, the historical place of Palpa, is 2 km. 500 meters of the cable car journey is through the middle of the forest. Chairman Gurung said that in the remaining one and a half kilometer journey, one can see the scenery up to Parpar including Butwal.

"In the beginning, we have kept the tower high to show the birds and nature of the forest," he said, "After a journey of five hundred meters, the entire scene of Butwal can be seen. After that, you can see the view up to Bhairahawa and Parasi.

Nuwakot is a historical and religious tourist spot. Nuwakot is the place where the summer palace of King Manimukunda Sen was in the past. Staying at this place, the army led by Colonel Ujir Singh used unique war tactics to defeat the British. Similarly, there are historical monuments like Bhairav ​​Mandir Topahan Area, Kharkhajanaghar, Ranikuwa in Nuwakot.

Operator Anupaman Saiju informed that other infrastructures are also being built at the bottom station and top station of the cable car. According to him, Lotus Park will also be built in the form of seven lotus flowers. 6 of which will be at the bottom station. The remaining one will remain at the top station. A 50-feet tall Buddha statue will be built on top of the lotus flower shape of the top station. Apart from that, Dhungedhara, restaurant and other structures will be built.
