Environmental Impact
With the inception of the Siddhartha Cable Car Project, environmental impact was kept in the topmost priority. This project is based on three selling points of Nuwakot,
- One historical value of its glorious days of Nuwakot ,
- The second is the breathtaking view of high mountains and Butwal City, and
- The third is its natural forest with various different kinds of wild animals and birds. One of the most attractive attributes of this forest is that it is 3-4 degrees cooler than the surrounding towns and cities.
In addition to it, Siddhartha Cable Car Project has already initiated the mitigation measures started in the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA). 6.25 ha has been procured by the Project and handed to the government. In this context, the project has already performed tree plantation in the ratio of 1:25 trees in most of the 6.25 ha of land provided to the Nepal Government.
